Teaser Tuesday: Shattered Souls

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by MizB over at Should Be Reading!

I said I would do a TT with Shattered Souls last week and never did…so I decided to do not ONE but TWO awesome teasers this week! This book was EFFIN’ fantastic and I had trouble picking just 2 lines/passages to share with you guys! Shattered Souls is funny and adorable and oh-so-angsty; and I think the teasers I picked show just that! Check 'em out:

"Ah, that's Joe Bear," Alden said. "We were inseparable through second grade. He likes milk and animal cookies." ARC PG 110 

He was waiting for me to say good-bye, looking as nervous as I felt. Should I shake his hand or kiss him good night on the cheek? Maybe I should act like Spook [his dog] and just lick his face.

I didn’t know what to do. I had a boyfriend. A great boyfriend, but something in me needed Alden.

“What is this we’re doing?” I asked, shifting my weight from foot to foot.
