Infinite Days by Rebecca Maizel

Infinite Days (Vampire Queen #1)
Author: Rebecca Maizel
Publisher: St. Martin's Griffin
Pages: 310
Rating: 5 Stars!
Team: Rhode Lewin
Lenah Beaudonte is, in many ways, your average teen: the new girl at Wickham Boarding School, she struggles to fit in enough to survive and stand out enough to catch the eye of the golden-boy lacrosse captain. But Lenah also just happens to be a recovering five-hundred-year-old vampire queen. After centuries of terrorizing Europe, Lenah is able to realize the dream all vampires have -- to be human again. After performing a dangerous ritual to restore her humanity, Lenah entered a century-long hibernation, leaving behind the wicked coven she ruled over and the eternal love who has helped grant her deep-seated wish.

Until, that is, Lenah draws her first natural breath in centuries at Wickham and rediscovers a human life that bears little resemblance to the one she had known. As if suddenly becoming a teenager weren’t stressful enough, each passing hour brings Lenah closer to the moment when her abandoned coven will open the crypt where she should be sleeping and find her gone. As her borrowed days slip by, Lenah resolves to live her newfound life as fully as she can. But, to do so, she must answer ominous questions: Can an ex-vampire survive in an alien time and place? What can Lenah do to protect her new friends from the bloodthirsty menace about to descend upon them? And how is she ever going to pass her biology midterm?~Goodreads
I loved Infinite Days soo much! It was too good. Honestly I was really skeptical about reading it because I thought it would just be “another vampire book” but I was completely wrong!

Infinite Days is so original and fascinating, I could not put it down! I started it late on a Monday night- had to sleep -then skipped my Tuesday classes to finish it!(Reading > School)

I don’t even know where to begin. I am usually not one for “historical fiction” or anything with an early period background but I found myself loving the flash back parts the best! You get sucked so easily it actually feels like you are in the story and the months are dragging on. (in a good way! If that makes sense?)

Oh yeaH & any scene with Rhode... *swoons!* SQUEEE! I LOVE Rhode! One of my favorite scenes is also when she is talking about her tattoo:
“Rhode’s handwriting etched into my skin with ink, blood, candle flam, and a small needle.”
UMmm- I want a Rhode tatt!

Then, while Lenah goes to school we meet Tony!  He was freakin’ funny as hell and I wish I had a friend like him! He has a total crush on Lenah the whole time and it’s absolutely adorable! But then….

Oh, what? You’re expecting me to tell you? Um…no, go pick this book up! If you want to know what happens with Tony…DUN-dun-DUUUUn

We also meet Justin, who is another love interest & I’m not hatin’ him. He was actually a really good guy & believed Lenah and stayed by her side. But like I said: TEAM RHODE!

The ending of the book had so much packed into it i thought I would die of crazyitis! For real, so much went down, I was like “DAAAYMM!”

It ends in an absolutely dreadful spot! NO worries though, The first chapter of Stolen Nights is in the back! There is still no synopsis for the second book, but perhaps it’s about “Stolen Nights” between Rhode & Lenah?? Hmm hmm hmm?! Plus the cover of Stolen Nights is absolutely gorge! I can’t wait for the next installment in this series! Finally vampires are awesome again!
