Theia Alderson has always led a sheltered life in the small California town of Serendipity Falls. But when a devastatingly handsome boy appears in the halls of her school, Theia knows she's seen Haden before- not around town, but in her dreams. As the Haden of both the night and the day beckons her closer one moment and pushes her away the next, the only thing Theia knows for sure is that the incredible pull she feels towards him is stronger than her fear. And when she discovers what Haden truly is, Theia's not sure if she wants to resist him, even if the cost is her soul.~Goodreads

I really, really liked this book! It was so creepy and funny and frustrating. And it didn't hurt that Haden Black is totally swoon worthy! It's a true mystery as to what he is for awhile, and that made it more captivating.

I loved Theia's dreams that take place in "Under". The whole world of Under is SO interesting! I loved it- Gwen Hayes describes it in the book as "a Gothic Alice in Wonderland." and thats exactly what i thought it was.

The romance between Haden and Theia is sooo angsty for about the whole first half of the book! Because Mr. Haden decided to play a card of "NO touching" and boy did that just add fuel to the fire of their smoldering heat! It's like "just kiss already!!! ahh!" SPOILER!! Haden does this thing....(you can still leave if you want!)... where he touches other girls, but Theia feels it- eeeep! those scenes were so hot! (If this wasn't a book- i personally would rip all Haden's clothes off asap!")

I LOVE, LOVE, loved her friends. Their personalities were so different and cute, you can't help liking them! Donny and Gabe are so funny together! And Ame so should be hooking up with Varnie (aka Mrs. Doubtfire haha!) Screw Mike and his never ending hunger!

All i can say is that you should pick this up if you want a very unique and mystifying read! The cover is so so pretty and the title sparkles! Thank God it doesn't end with a cliffy but it leaves the story open for more- which i hope there is!

I give it a 4.7 haha- the only thing that threw me off a bit was that it was some parts were too Twilight-esque. Parts of the plot, or even the dialogue i was like "haven't i read this before?" but none the less it kept me intrigued!
