For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends. She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel. For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.~GoodreadsI loved Hush, Hush because it made angels hot! Patch is sexy as hell and the tension between him and Nora is steamin'. When I wasn’t laughing at the banter, I was drooling over the romance, or freakin’ over the suspense!
When i picked up Hush Hush it was because i was sick of vampires, i needed something new. But i did not expect for it to be so amazing! It hooked me on angels!
I liked Nora because she has frizzy curly hair and I do too! But that’s beside the point. Why I really like her is because she didn’t fall for Patch right away, sure he is attractive but she also sees how cocky and full of himself he is. She takes precautions and doesn’t leave him out as a suspects for the weird things that seem to be happening. Plus she has no problem questioning him about it. She is not afraid to harass a brotha!
eeeep! & Patch- Well…all I can say is… *swoons!* He is a fallen, motor cycle riding, scar baring, sly smiling, pool-playing angel. HOT! There are so many times I re-read his lines because they were too witty and cunning! He could charm a girl right out of her socks! He made the book for me!
