Pandemonium continues Lena’s gripping story. After escaping from Portland, Maine, Lena makes it to the Wilds and becomes part of an Invalid community, where she transforms herself into a warrior for the resistance. A future without Alex is unimaginable, but Lena pushes forward and fights, both for him and for a world in which love is no longer considered a disease. Swept up in a volatile mix of revolutionaries and counterinsurgents, Lena struggles to survive—and wonders if she may be falling in love again.

Lauren Oliver delivers an electrifying follow-up to her acclaimed New York Times bestseller, Delirium. This riveting, brilliant novel crackles with the fire of fierce defiance, forbidden romance, and the sparks of a revolution about to ignite.~Goodreads

Pandemonium is a remarkable sequel that will stab you in the gut fifty thousand times, make you cry and also freak the eff out.

So many insane things happen in this book and if I told you any of them, I’d totally spoil it for you! I will, however, tell you that this book is told from Lena’s perspective during two different periods of time; one from when she was in the Wilds and the other from when she’s back in the city.

When Lena is in the Wilds she meets a clan of Invalids and i pretty much loved all of them! Raven, Tack, Blue and Hunter we my favorites!

Raven is this strong, independent leader who has this total badass vibe. But sometimes I wanted to smack her for being SO EXTREMELY insensitive toward Lena! Tack is sorta like the second in command. He’s a total tough guy and I would’ve loved to read more about him and his back story! Blue *sniffle* Blue’s whole story broke my heart. She was the sweetest little thing too! And lastly we have Hunter. And he had me on edge for awhile! I totally thought he’d become Lena’s new love interest. Every time they talked I was like this, “NO! NO! NO! Don’t talk to each other!! Taking leads to friendship and friendship leads to developing a crush and a crush leads to kissing!! AHHH! WHAT ABOUT ALEX! *sobs*” Don't worry though, we dodge the love bullet....with him. DUN DUN DUUUN...

We also meet a new character from the city....and that’s all I’ll say about that.

Fast forward one jailbreak, one underground shower, one almost kiss, one actual kiss and one almost execution later annnnd we reach the end.

HOLY. EFFIN’. SNAP!! I KNEW IT!! I KNEW IT!! OMG! Such an epic ending. That is all.

Lauren Oliver delivers another breath-taking novel with incredible prose, plot twists and an astounding ending. Man, does she know how to write a killer ending! Gah! If you loved Delirium, you’ll love Pandemonium!

P dot s- I missed Alex AND Hana so much in this book. :(

  1. I so agree! EPIC! And i miss hana too, I wanna know more about what happened with her after Delirium.

  2. Oh, boy. I've had this ARC forever, but I'm so scared the ending will be a monstrous cliffhanger like in Delirium. But it sounds awesome from your review.

  3. You're so lucky you got to read this before it is released! I'm so excited for it, I'll probably start counting down the days, haha!
Thanks so much for the review, I was really worried about whether it would be good or not.
Now I'm really looking forward to it!

  4. Yeep! OMG! O.O I. cannot. wait. (I hope the actual kiss is between her and Alex and not OhHeyIAmARandomCityBoyAndIAmYourNewSoulMate!)

    Awesome review! :D

    P.S. Check your e-mail! :D

  5. Man, I need to read this! I can't believe I haven't yet.
