One of my main blogging goals this year is to be more active in the bookish community, so, when I saw that The Book Bratz were hosting the Summer Blogger Promo Tour I HAD to sign up! What a fun way to meet new book lovers!
I’ve been partnered with Taylor from over at Stay on the Page! It’s been a blast getting to know her so far and I can’t wait for y’all to learn a bit about her as well! Hey, Tay!
Hello! My name is Taylor (but you can just call me Tay!) and I’ve been blogging for two years over at Stay on the Page. I’m also one of the hosts for Shattering Stigmas, a two-week blogging event held in October that uses personal essays and blog posts about all things bookish and mental health to fight the stigma against mental illness.
I’m a 23-year-old graduate student currently studying culture, media studies and affect theory at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, but I live in the tree-filled suburbs of northern New Jersey where you can usually find me in my garden or curled up with a good book.
I am a huge fan of YA lit and I love to support fellow queer authors and bloggers. I’m demibiromantic ace and I’m also working on a bunch of writing projects featuring main characters who are queer, neurodiverse, fiercely willed girls who just want to be happy. Some of my favorite books I’ve recently read include The Strange Fascinations of Noah Hypnotik by David Arnold, Blanca & Roja by Anna-Marie McLemore and Anger is a Gift by Mark Oshiro.
