Shatter Me is absolutely riveting, tremendously unique and totally sexy! From the very first page I was absolutely mesmerized by Juliette and her story, I NEEDED to know more, more, more.  And oH my GOSH, DUDE! Have you seen the teaser trailer???

I was flabbergasted at how freakin’ brilliantly this book was written, so different and exceptionally original with the strike out lines, so poetic, so emotional and did I say original?

Tahereh Mafi definitely makes a STUNNING debut. The dialogue just flows off the page so perfectly and all the scenes just fit together so seamlessly it’s really hard to believe it's her debut novel.

I can’t praise this book enough! There was action, and danger, and romance. *SWOONS* the romance I cant even…I don’t even…oh my god Adam Kent! He is the most perfect male specimen to ever hit the pages. He says things that made my my heart flutter and put butterflies in my stomach! He’s compassionate and sexy yet tough and adorable and he makes your soul melt into a puddle of  delicious cookie dough (okay so obviously that is a really weird simile but…he is just that special…he has the power to turn your soul into cookie dough…HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE HIM?!)

I also adored Juliette! When we first meet her, she’s so isolated and her thoughts are a jumble of pain, sorrow, fear and regrets; the way in which she tells her story is heartbreaking and I was truly captivated by her words. Juliette is also stubborn, way to smart for her own good and a total bad ass! She can take a dude down with just the touch of her hand! (Tell me that’s not bad freakin’ ass!)

Juliette is also cautious with her power and emotions, especially around Warner.  Ah, Warner the guy you want to hate, but he opens his mouth then you get confused. He carries himself with utter confidence and is harsh; he craves power and will go to some pretty drastic measures to get it, which should disgust you. Yet he's totally gorgeous & devilishly charming & he has this vulnerable side that makes him extremely hard to hate. It’s not very often I meet a sexy villain, so maybe that’s why I find him so striking, he’s very mystifying (big word right!?) and I can’t wait to read more about him in book 2!

This book was everything I wanted it to be and more! It surpassed my expectations and I want to sleep with it forever! And cuddle with it and sing to it and play apples to apples with it!  It was pure perfection. I am in love.  And the cover is beauteous!

Don't get me wrong this book was highly entertaining and full of suspense, the beginning hooked me right away and pulled me to keep reading, but the overall story just didn’t click with me. 

As the story developed the suspense dragged and i felt like i was reading in circles. I thought some scenes really didn't make sense or seem to have any actual purpose and that threw off the story's flow a little bit.

But alas i kept reading because A) I love, love, LOVED her brother Daniel! He was absolutely hilarious and adorable! I want him to have his own series!! He’s the smart, over-protective brother that you just can’t help but love! Oh! And he drives a Civic, and that automatically makes him awesome! (Civic drivers UNITE!) :P

B) Noah is a sexy arrogant A-hole!

I liked Noah, I really did, but I’m just not 100% completely sold on him. Of course he’s sexy and English & knows how to whip out a one liner but I feel as a character, his development might have been too drastic. He went from being this notorious man-whore to a sweet (still cocky) one -woman guy. I also feel the relationship between him and Mara was a little too forced.

And C) i wanted to find out what was happening with Mara just as bad as she did. This book is CRAZY i will give it that....just… messed up! And there were a lot of “hmm” and “whaaa??” moments.

I can’t really say much else without giving the story away but I did NOT see the ending coming AT ALL! i was like O_O !! The ending was the best part!

And even though this book didn't blow my mind, i definitely will be picking up the sequel!

July is officially the month of swoonage

So this month is just totally YA boy CrAzY!! i mean over at The YA Sisterhood they have the Summer Crush Tournament going on and it's a freakin' blast! And then over at Down the Rabbit Hole, YA Bachelors are being pimped out! This month is really a dream come true and talk about some swoon overload!!

I wants it so bad, even more badder than when I wanted Mara. *pouts* Well at least we’ll all have something to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, because THE PLEDGE doesn’t come out until November! Be sure to pick up a copy then!

I personally have never "met" the boy Jules is going up against but i hear Shane from the Morganville Vampire Series puts up a good fight, so the competition is sure to be fierce!

Where do I even begin with this book!?!? It was nothing short of breath-taking! The story shoots off from page one with plenty of action and new characters, an amazing sequel!

Wolfsbane picks up right where Nighshade left off & Calla finds out some startling revelations through-out the whole book.  All her issues seem to stem from (SPOILER!!) saving Shay and abandoning her pack at the end of Nightshade. Oh my goodness you guys, like you have no idea how heartbreaking these revelations are, each and every one of them caught me totally off guard and hurt my soul.

Andrea Cremer knows how to write a damn good book! Honestly, I’m going to spoil something for you; there is basically like zippo Ren in this book & when he does show up, it’s far from a happy reunion. You know what that means right? Lots, and I mean LOTS of Shay *insert gagging here* BUT holy smokes, he is actually tolerable. Sure I wanted to slap him, but he's not that bad. 

To distract us from the annoyingness that is Shay, we have a slew of bomb new characters! Ethan & Connor are THE greatest additions ever made to a series. No. lie. Connor is nothing but witty lines & innuendos while Ethan is the serious-brooding-i-have-awesome-one-liners-sometimes-too type. Both are kick- ass, and both are pretty much sexy as heck. At first Ethan is a big jerk, but THEN when this ONE THING happens and he MEETS this one character it’s pure MAGIC! Shhh…… do you hear that? It’s the sound of my heart fluttering because I love Ethan with this character SO MUCH! I want a spin-off of them!! (Andrea, could you please get on that? Thanks!)

Along with the new dudes we get a feisty little thing, Adne! She is such a bitch and provokes Calla so much you just cannot help but love her (well I did anyway!) All these new characters are so tough & unique they really add to the book. One thing they DO NOT do however, is replace the wolf pack.  My heart hurt so much, I missed them tons!!  ANSEL! *CRIES*

The end of the book is brilliant & crazy & GAH!! Honestly this WHOLE book is just shock-shock-shocking! For realzzz! Andrea Cremer delivers again & leaves you breathless for the last *cries* installment!!

<3 Ren better be in Bloodrose like 10 million% more than he was in this one! #JustSayin’

HOLY NUGGIN'S DOES THIS BOOK SOUND FLUPPIN' FANTASTIC OR WHAT?!?!! WOWZA! The cover & the synopsis literally have me in awe! Sicily. Mafia. Alessandro. Tigers!?! I am SO THERE!! Just, GAH! i am so excited for this book i can't even express it coherently! *whispers- Arcadia Awakens*... damn sounds so good! All right, now you just enjoy staring at that cover because it doesn't come out until *GASP* February 2012! We have a long wait my friends, a long wait *sadface*
