Can't-Wait Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted at Wishful Endings, to spotlight and discuss the books we're excited about that we have yet to read. Generally they're books that have yet to be released. It's based on Waiting on Wednesday, hosted by the fabulous Jill at Breaking the Spine.
A fierce sequel full of sisterhood, heart pounding action, betrayal, and intrigue in the royal court in a series that "breathes new life into the feminist story of oppression and resistance" (Publisher's Weekly).
I had wanted to read Grace and Fury, but yeah, that didn't happen. This sounds like it will be a great addition to the original, though. Hope you love it.

ReplyDeleteI didn't realize there was a synopsis and cover for the sequel! Eep! I was a little annoyed with Nomi in the first book, because she clearly had the better prison, but she grew on me towards the end. I wish she hadn't made certain decisions, and had been able to see through a certain someone, but then there wouldn't have been a story. The island life was ROUGH for her sister, though I think the changes have been more impactful for her. The cliffhanger at the end of the first book, though. Wow!
